Research Interests

Linjie Zhao is a postdoctoral researcher at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and a visiting postdoctoral researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). His research focuses on electrocatalytic materials and membrane-electrode assemblies for hydrogen energy conversion, particularly proton exchange membrane water electrolysis and fuel cells. His current interests include acidic oxygen evolution, low-iridium electrodes, alkaline hydrogen oxidation/evolution, interfacial transport, operando characterization, and electrolysis under high-current-density and dynamic operating conditions. He has been awarded the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Special Funding (Category C) of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
