Research Interests

My research interest lies broadly in the areas of energy and sustainability, through conversion of solar energy into renewable fuels and valuable feedstock, employing photothermal and photocatalysis.  My future research goals are cantered at the interface of synthetic chemistry and nanomaterials engineering for energy harvesting / storage applications such as (1) Photocatalytic and photothermal catalysis for CO2 conversion into C1/C2 products, (2) materials designing for overall water splitting (3) Pollutants degradation (4) Charge separation, (5) Mechanism of catalysis elaboration (6) Electrochemical and PEC CO2 conversion to value-added products etc.
